Finished in striking GM Electric Blue Metallic over a handcrafted Saddle Tan interior, this 1983 Jeep CJ-7 combines classic open-air styling with a fully restored chassis, upgraded drivetrain, and thoughtfully integrated modern technology.
The new body is mounted on a completely restored and upgraded chassis, complemented by later-model Jeep wheel-well flares, a new windshield, tubular entry steps, and new front and rear bumpers. A heavy-duty BADLAND front winch, front bull bar, and Class III hitch receiver give the CJ-7 a purposeful stance. LED headlights, LED taillights, multi-color turn signals, and front and rear cameras add modern visibility and convenience without taking away from its unmistakable vintage character.
Inside, the Jeep has been fully refinished in Saddle Tan, including new front and rear seats, carpeting, canvas doors, and a retractable soft top. A padded tubular roll bar provides additional protection, while a 10-inch touchscreen, new analog gauges, and updated switchgear bring contemporary functionality to the cabin.
Power comes from the original 4.2-liter inline-six, now paired with a Novak five-speed manual transmission featuring upgraded overdrive. The transfer case has been rebuilt, with new axles and Dana 40 front and Dana 20 rear differentials completing the drivetrain. The suspension has also been fully rebuilt and fitted with a two-inch lift, while four-wheel power disc brakes provide confident stopping performance.
Under the hood, the detailed engine bay features a black crinkle-finish valve cover, chrome breather cap, chrome air cleaner, chrome master cylinder and brake booster, and a light-gray finished intake manifold. The restored and painted undercarriage reflects the same attention to detail found throughout the build.
A new set of aftermarket alloy wheels - with polished rims and black centers - is wrapped in 33x12.50R15 BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A tires with raised white lettering. The result is a beautifully restored CJ-7 with timeless Jeep character, a commanding stance, and upgrades designed to make every drive more capable and enjoyable.
